Must-Watch Anime List

Greetings for you all! :)

I actually have just finished making some quiz for tomorrow's class; Indonesian Literature. I kind of want to make my classmates amazed by acknowledging a brand new way of study, using some handy apps. I hope it will going well.

So, let's get back to the topic. Since now is over my bedtime, I don't have desire to sleep anymore. I will fill this hour to make a must-watch anime list, in my subjective. Some of anime in this list are not really the famous one, but I assure you (trust me, I have a good taste!), it won't disappoint you.

Warnings; this list have various genres and types. I'm a type of person who enjoy all kind of genres, as long as they fit me well. Also, I'm abandoning (seems cruel, isn't it?) the famous list. Like, Shingeki No Kyojin, Kuroko's Basketball, Kimi Ni Todoke, Tokyo Ghoul, Shigatsu Kimi wo Uso, Haikyuu, Kyoukai No Kanata (Is it famous enough?), Sword Art Online and such. Because, I already love them, and everyone loves them too.

It's super mainstream and I think you do not need any further reviews about how good they are.

1. Psycho-Pass (Now available Season 1 & Season 2)

Even though, all my nakamas know this anime, but I learned that not everyone (in viral) know. Maybe because nakamas always feel the way we feel. Mostly, people choose about something that not too risky when they pick a title of anime to watch. Because animes are unexpected, indeed.

There are a lot of plot twist in animes. And you never know where the story will take you. Sometimes, watching anime is like you just get through a brain-washing procedure. It's really mind-fucked you. Sorry for the foul language, but it's true.

Psycho-Pass is not about psychopath. Yes. Even if Psycho-Pass's genres are crime, gore, and psychology. This anime is designed for the mature audience. Mostly because its graphic. And no, it's not anything sexual. Psycho-Pass is more than just a crime.

It's about law. What is law, and how do you persuade with the law. Japan have create an absolute policy and law, using a perfect machine which detect everything in you. Your ability, your concern, your mental and physical health. They designed a perfect life for you, based on yourself. The system can actually scanned you until the smallest part of your brain.

Your mental health is detected by the psycho-pass. If your psycho-pass is dim or dark colored, then you have to go to the rehabilitation. And the story, go much further than that. See by yourself, and you will be astonished.

2. Zankyou No Terror (Available Season 1)

Opening Ep.1 

Zankyou No Terror is about terrorism, crime, friendship, and life. Here, you will sympathized with the terrorist. You know, the intentions of every single human is different. You have your own visions and missions. Life is not fair and the terrorist, itself never have intention to hurt the citizen, in this anime. There are certain targets they wanted to achieve, and it succeed to made me cry.

In this world, you can't judge with just black or white. There are other colors. And gray exist between black and white. All the matters in this earth are gray; it's uncertain. Something that look good can be so bad, and something that look bad can be actually very good. That's why people always make conspiracies. Because, you know that you'll never know. :)

3. Durarara!!

Durarara is pretty famous, I suppose. But, well, let's just get along. Durarara is a unique mixed combination between action, supernatural, and crime. You have to wait patiently until the end of the episodes and, BOOM, you get mind-fucked. You cannot figured out its mystery in the beginning of the episodes. You will get distracted or confused what are the relation between all of the episodes. 

Well, the goods always come to those who always wait patiently. :)

4. Ouran High School Host Club (Available Season 1 & a live action movie)

The Harem-type Anime

Ouran probably are my most favorite type of harem Anime. I usually didn't really like harem, but the plot in Ouran is nice developed. It's not too much and in the end, the main character actually pick one of those boys. She is rather my favorite type of character for being dense, independent, cold, and rational. She is lovable.

And the rest of the boys are your guilty pleasure. Err... I mean, your fangirl object. This anime didn't contain any of heavy plot. It's just fluffy and easy to follow. Unlike the top three.

The genres are; School Life, Harem, Romance.

5. Nagi No Asukara (Available Season 1)

The genres are: Romance, Drama, Hurt/Comfort.

This anime is really a twister. I like all of the plot (if you find it cheesy at the beginning of the episodes, just keep watching until the end, and I dare you to say cheesy again in front of me). The character's unexpected couple, unexpected turns-out and the freaking NTR. Yeah, NTR. This anime contain deep of NTR feels.

The theme songs from Ray and Yanagi Nagi in this anime will flow you away. It was a really good touch. Dramatic, but happy ending at last. And I just love how the story is well developed. IT WAS GENIUS.

You know how you feel if your most-favorite crack pair is actually become real in the anime? YEAH. THAT FEELING.

6. Mekakucity Actors (Available Season 1)

Mekakucity Actors have a weird angle of the picture. I love the art and character. And it's unique too. Mekakucity was far more understandable than Monogatari Series. The genres are Drama, Fantasy, School Life. It was come from a vocaloid video!

7.  Death Parade (Available Season 1)

Death Parade is a combination between psychological and an imagine of the after-death life. It was really good, the art was nice. The opening song theme is good, too. And this anime teach us so many things. The end of the episode is always unexpected.

8. Barakamon (Available Season 1)

Considerably new, Barakamon is actually a fluffy series of friends and family themed. This is the anime which you can watch with your parent. The mood is clear and warm. And I still fetishist Naru's voice. This anime was ranked on the first place last year and it really-really good. 

9. Ansatsu Kyoshitsu (Available Season 1 & Life Action Movie)

An Alien named Koro-sensei have come to destroy earth. But, until then, he choose to teach those F class student which have been given permission to kill him within one year. This friendship, parody, slice of life, and a school life is given us many of precious quotes and inspiration, such as;

"Teaching you is more important than destroying the earth," - Koro-sensei

And it really touches me. Koro-sensei is a perfect model for a teacher, and I really moved by this. I intend to be a teacher too (a lecturer, to be precise) and become to be a great one.
